do justly, and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with your God?

And beside this, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue;
and to virtue knowledge; And to knowledge temperance;
and to temperance patience; and to patience godliness;
And to godliness brotherly kindness; and to brotherly kindness charity.
For if these things be in you, and abound, they make you that you shall neither be barren nor unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.
But he that lacks these things is blind, and cannot see afar off,
and has forgotten that he was purged from his old sins.
Why the rather, brothers, give diligence to make your calling and election sure:
for if you do these things, you shall never fall: For so an entrance shall be ministered to you abundantly into the everlasting kingdom of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

were anointed,

divine grace.
True worshippers are
Christians,
in a
secondary sense, what
Christ is in a
primary sense, "the Lord's anointed."

the anointing which ye have received of him
abideth in you,
and ye need
not that any man teach you:
but as the same anointing teacheth you of
all things,
and is truth,
and is no lie,
and even as
it
hath taught

ye shall abide in him.

worshippers shall
worship
